Receptionists of The Cottage Grove Animal Hospital: CHRIS - Hi!  I'm Chris, I've been a Receptionist here since 2001, during which time I've seen great changes and growth!

I'm a retired nurse who always had a great love of animals (my mom says I brought home every sick & stray animal in town).  I've had numerous pets, including a hedgehog.  I currently care for 3 dogs (1 Golden Retriever, 1 Border Collie mix & 1 Nova Scotia Toller Retriever) and 1 husband.

In my spare time I love to garden, craft jewelry, bake & hug all the puppies we see!
BARB - I've been a receptionist at the Cottage Grove Animal Hospital since 2002.  Never having a dog growing up, it was love at first sight when I got my first.  While my husband and I were doing research as to what breed we wanted, I really started taking an interest in other aspects of the wonderful world of animals.  Although I had my heart set on a Cocker Spaniel, we combed all the shelters because we really wanted to give a lonely pet (Cocker) a good home.  Well, everything snowballed after we got Bear, a cute 1 1/2 yr old Cocker that we rescued from the Animal Ark.

Soon after getting Bear I was lucky enough to be hired at the Cottage Grove Animal Hospital.  After working in a big company doing database developing for __ years (no dating myself), I decided to get a job that was fun, rewarding and one that I love to get up in the morning to go to.  So, now I have 3 dogs, 2 Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  Did someone say "GROOMING"?

If you want to find me during the summer, comb the lakes!  I'll be up north in the Garrison, MN area or closer to home fishing on the boat.  I also like to run.  Jenny (a tech here) and I enter "short" races to have fun & enjoy the weather.
KATHY - a.k.a. "Zeta - the geocacher".  I have been working with the team at Cottage Grove Animal Hospital since 2003 and loving it.  Being front desk greeter gives me the chance to meet interesting and challenging clients, both human and animal.

Bandit our 9 yr old Airedale and Whisper our 10 yr old cat keep Jim (my husband) and I in shape and provide us with lots of laughs.

Along with reading a lot I have a passion for gardening.  My yard is ever changing.  I love to sit and reflect on the deck during the spring and summer months.
